Dreaming . . .

Do you ever let your mind wonder off to think of a place to live that you would find ideal? I did today. I would love to live in a place where they actually have all four seasons. A place where kids can go play with other kids outside without worry about being run over or taken. How about a place where people treat other people like neighbors instead of competitors?

When you have a few minutes to dream, go to this site - it's amazing!
Even though I may never end up at any of the beautiful places that were found, it is comforting to know that there are real places to dream about.
P.S. Funny that none of the results turned up anything in Texas!!!

It's a Funny Thing. . .

My goal is not to post once a quarter. I would love to post more often, but isn't is strange that the "regular" posting stopped the same time school started!

When I was younger I spoke to a man as we admired the beauty of Fall. He said that it was a tradition in his family to catch a falling leaf and thus declare fall had indeed begun. I was outside this morning taking my little puppy for some "outside" time when I wistfully looked at the sunshine, birds, blue sky . . . and whoosh, the wind blew and down came a cascade of falling leaves. In euphoria I gracefully extended my hand expecting to grasp the leaf . . . and it was anything but graceful! The leaf went this way and that way, I lunged and almost jerked the stuffing out of my puppy. All that just to see the silly leaf gingerly light upon the grass.
